Abstract

Mass Propagation of Spilanthes calva .L was achieved through shoot tip explants. The explants were cultured on MS medium supplemented with BAP (4.44-22.20 M) in combination with NAA (2.69 M ). The rate of shoot proliferation was very high at 13.32 M BAP and 2.69 M NAA. The regenerated shootlets were excised and transferred to MS medium containing different concentration of IBA. Induction of root was maximum at 9.80 M IBA. All the regenerated plantlets were hardened and successfully established in the normal environment.
