Abstract

Gastric cancer is one of the most lethal and serious cancers in the world and its mortality and incidence have been increased dramatically in all over the world. Relatively, in order to study and survey histopathalogically of stomach’s cancerous tissues, 32 patients were investigated. In this way, 23 numbers were men and 9 ones were women. For confirmation and accuracy of the tissues, sampling was done in approximate sizes between O.2 to O.5 cm for all the patients by endoscopy initially. Then the results were shown that all of the tissues were Cancerous. Correspondingly, for curing function, surgery was accomplished and total gastrectomy was accomplished.

In the surgery room, we investigated and provided the tissues samples of tumors in the approximate sizes of 2 mm to 1 cm and they were investigated histopathologically by microtome, tissue processors and staining by hematoxiline, Zyline and Eosin colors.

The investigated tissues were gastric mucosa, stomach and omental, gastric lesion, cardia region excision, gastric antral mucosa. The approximate size of tumor for gastric cancer was 5.4 x 1.2 cm, for cardia 3.5x3.5 and for others was 2.5x2.5. The final results indicated that all of the tissues were adenocarcinoma, and the locations of the tumors for gastric cancer were cardia, distal and fundic.
